While the biggest prize is the completion of our two turbines and our 1900 members, awards that raise the profile of our project have great value in inspiring other communities to take on similar projects. We hope that the increased profile might also encourage governments to recognise the value of community led renewable energy initiatives and develop policies that encourage community energy developments.
